Melanin is the pigment in our skin which is produced by specialized skin cells called melanocytes. Whitening agents like kojic acid or hydroquinone powder, decrease production by making one appear fairer. Hence whitening products work!
Small amount of rashes after a facial is perfectly fine – False.
Rashes are got only when the products do not suit the skin. Check with your beautician and find out what she is using. If she says that it is completely normal and there is nothing to worry about, then it’s best to replace her.
